Catherine Ponder Affirmations – Some Of My Favorites

Catherine Ponder Affirmations – Some Of My Favorites

I was looking up some Catherine Ponder affirmations, since I knew there were a few that I like, and I ended up going to a few different sites that had a bunch (some which I hadn’t heard before), and here are some of my favorites.

All financial doors are open; all financial channels are free, and endless bounty now comes to me.

I am surrounded by divine substance and this divine substance now manifests for me in rich appropriate form.

I am receiving. I am receiving now. I am receiving all the wealth that the universe has for me now.

I give thanks that I am now rich, well and happy and that my financial affairs are in divine order. Every day in every way I am growing richer and richer.

Abundance, wealth, health and happiness. Divine intelligence is even now opening the way for my immediate blessings. I have faith that all that is mine by divine right now comes to me in rich abundance, my rich blessings do not interfere with anyone else’s good, since God’s rich substance is unlimited and everywhere for all of us. There is no delay! That which is not for my highest good now fades from me and I no longer desire it. My God-given desires are richly fulfilled now in God’s own wonderful way.

I am the rich child of a loving father. I now accept and claim his rich good for me in every phase of my life. My own God-given success in the form of rich ideas and rich results now appears.

I am now activated by Divine Love and guided by divine power into my right work, which I perform in a perfect way for perfect pay. The divine plan of my life now takes shape in definite concrete experiences, leading to perfect health, happiness, success and prosperity.

Divine intelligence is in charge of my life. I am now open, receptive, and obedient to its rich instruction and guidance.

I give thanks for the immediate, complete, divine fulfillment of these desires. This or something better comes forth with perfect timing, according to God’s rich good for me.

I am now shown new ways of living and new methods of work. I am not confined to the ways and methods of the past. I experience my perfect work in the perfect way, which now renders me perfect satisfaction and perfect pay.

No, I do not have to accept this situation. God in his almighty goodness is dissolving and removing all negation from my world. No situation dismays me, for God, the Spirit of good is with me, unfolding and sustaining me and making all things right.

Regardless of taxes, the cost of living or the rate of unemployment, my financial income can and does increase richly now through the direct action of God.

Divine intuition is now showing me the way. Divine intuition is now working in and through me, in and through all concerned, producing easily and quickly the perfect outcome, the perfect result.

We use the prosperous power of divine intelligence in wisdom, integrity and good judgment in all our financial affairs. We give thanks that every financial obligation is paid on time.

The same divine trust that first motivated this financial transaction is now mightily at work, clearing it up for the highest good for all concerned.

I give thanks for the divine restoration in my business affairs, divine restoration is now doing its perfect work for all involved, and the perfect result appears now. I give thanks that every financial obligation is now being met in God’s own wise and wonderful way.

I will not put up with or tolerate this experience as necessary, lasting or right. I refuse to accept things as they are. I am God’s child and I will accept nothing but His complete goodness for me.

Every day in every way I am becoming financially independent, with the help of God.

I expect lavish abundance every day in every way in my life and affairs. I specifically expect and give thanks for lavish abundance today.

All financial doors are open; all financial channels are free, and endless bounty now comes to me.

I rejoice in the bounty of God, constantly manifesting as overflowing supply here and now.

With praise and thanksgiving, I set the riches of God before me this day to guide, govern, protect, and prosper me. All things needful are now provided. My rich good becomes visible this day!”

I give thanks that my financial income now increases mightily through the direct action of God’s rich good.

I give thanks for the immediate, complete payment of all financial obligations, in God’s own wonderful way.

Money, money, money, manifest thyself here and now in rich abundance.

Joe Dispenza and Gregg Braden

Joe Dispenza and Gregg Braden

After reading an “old” (2007) book by Gregg Braden, “The Divine Matrix,” it became instantly clear why Gregg and Joe Dispenza appear together at events, and are such a good fit for each other. It’s amazing how their beliefs and explanations of how we can create positive change in our own and collective worlds compliment each other.

Joe Dispenza and Gregg Braden

I just felt like I had to post something about both Joe and Gregg, because if you are on a journey that’s even remotely similar to mine (i.e. to live a fully content and abundant life while correctly using our conscious and subconscious minds in cooperation with the universal field that holds unlimited potential), you may want to explore the work of both teachers.

Frankly, I am finding their teachings to be nothing short of life changing. I don’t know how else to put it. In a future post, I will share a manifestation that I experienced last summer that I struggle to even put into words. Hopefully I’ll get that written soon.

My Introduction to Joe Dispenza

In the fall of 2017 I read Joe’s book, “Becoming Supernatural.” Prior to that, I had read his book, “Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself.” For some reason, the way he presents his theories and teaches his meditations strikes just the right chord with me.

Just as Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith’s sincere and heart-felt explanations of how to create powerful visions for a better life resonated with me shortly after I had seen him appear in “The Secret” (2006), the work of Joe Dispenza and Gregg Braden have equally moved me.

I love the way things come to me!

It’s always kind of interesting to me how certain material finds its way into my life. For example, back when I was just beginning on this path, I happened upon Paramahansa Yogananda’sAutobiography of a Yogi.”

Autobiography of a Yogi and Other Books

While I was intrigued (especially by the way the guru’s eyes seemed to “follow” me from the cover of his book), and yet I didn’t purchase it at the time.

Then I saw it again at another store, but still didn’t buy it.

Finally, during a visit to a used book store in Portland, ME, I found myself in the metaphysical section. On the bottom shelf were about a dozen copies of Autobiography of a Yogi.

I chuckled slightly at the sight, and thought to myself, “What are you trying to tell me Swamiji?” And then – I kid you not – at that very moment, very gently a paperback copy of the book just fell off the shelf at my feet.

You can’t make this type of stuff up! Laughing out loud, I said “Ok, sir! You win! I’ll read your book!”

To this day, Autobiography of a Yogi travels with me whenever I move for the season. I’ve read it at least 3 times, and refer to it often! I took the lessons offered by Self Realization Fellowship, and learned a great deal, and the book completely changed the way I look at life.

I did not take Kriya initiation, however, because I felt that I needed to continue learning other traditions. But, the teachings of Yogananda stay with me and are deeply important to me.

Back to Joe Dispenza

In the case of Joe Dispenza’s work, I can’t recall the exact moment I heard of him; however, I have a vague recollection of seeing him on the old movie “What the Bleep Do We Know!?” a 2004 film that I honestly didn’t really like that much, but watched because it featured Fred Alan Wolf, a Ph.D. whose appearance and presence I enjoyed in The Secret.

Until I saw Joe in a later YouTube video or blog, I didn’t even make the connection immediately. Nonetheless, once I began paying attention to some of the stuff he was talking about, I found myself getting more and more interested in what he had to say.

That’s when I purchased Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself and followed the 4 weeks of his suggested meditations.

Then, the next year, I bought Becoming Supernatural and THAT is when I had yet another in one of my lifelong series of Ah Ha moments.

What about Gregg Braden?

I had definitely heard of Gregg Braden; however, I never read any of his materials until this past month. Sifting through a tote of books at a yard sale in Florida a couple of months ago, one book kind of fell to the side.

It was “The Divine Matrix” by Gregg Braden. I hadn’t heard of it, and almost pushed it aside, but then something told me to pick it up.

“How much for the book?” I asked. “.25 cents.” Sold.

I put it aside for a while until a couple of weeks ago when suddenly I felt the urge to read it.

While I find certain concepts difficult to understand (i.e. the theory that we live in a “holographic universe”), others settle right into my brain like an old familiar friend.

And it was while I was reading that I began to see parallels between what Gregg described in 2007 (when the book was originally published) and what I’m learning from Joe Dispenza today.

Joe and Gregg – A Natural Fit

It also occurred to me that lately I’ve been seeing the two of these guys appearing in a variety of events and seminars. It seems to be a natural fit.

It’s almost as if these guys have been tag-teaming through the last decade or two on some unconscious level. The tagline on Gregg’s website, “Bridging Science, Spirituality, and the Real World” pretty much sums it up, and matches Joe’s work perfectly.

Both men are compassionate, as well as passionate about the messages they are teaching. I would love to attend one of their workshops – hopefully they will appear together in my region at some point.

Anyway, as a result of my reading Greg’s book, I have re-started Becoming Supernatural for the 2nd time around. THIS time, even more stuff is becoming clear. I have a feeling I’ll be writing more about this.

Before I sign off, I wanted to share a video I found on YouTube that you might enjoy, so that you can see first hand how Joe and Gregg seem to have complimentary teachings. It may help clarify some stuff for you as it did for me.

Ok, here’s the video. Now I want to go sit with Becoming Supernatural again for a while! Enjoy!

Life Visioning: Michael Bernard Beckwith

Life Visioning: Michael Bernard Beckwith

I was just reminded of the Life Visioning project offered as one of the fabulous MindValley courses, and led by the Reverend Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith (founder of Agape International Spiritual Center). Sitting here at the computer, I opened up my day’s emails, and saw a compelling email from Vishen Lakhiani, the founder of Mindvalley. Before I get into the details, here’s a quick look at what’s in this article:

Mindvalley and Life Visioning

In the email, Vishen talks about a podcast about finding our life’s vision – basically, HOW to find our life vision. Vishen offers what I believe are some of the best self-development programs in the world (I group it right alongside Joe Dispenza’s transformative books and meditations, in which I am deeply immersed as well).

I’m pretty sure that in another article here at the site, I mention that if I could work with only ONE group for a career, it would be with Vishen Lakhiani’s Mindvalley. Now, he’s a guy who has taken “life visioning” to a whole new level!

MindValley courses are extremely well-known for their world class quality, and the company itself is an exemplary model of what customer service should be – no matter what the business is.

Anyway, enough about Mindvalley in general. Let’s talk about Dr. Beckwith’s course.

Michael Bernard Beckwith’s Course at Mindvalley

“LVbanner2.jpg"Anyway, all this got me thinking about Dr. Beckwith and his tireless work in helping others do this very thing with finding our life’s vision! In fact, his intuitive Life Visioning Process is now a MindValley Masterclass.

(NOTE – February 2019: As of this update, the class is now available again, and it appears to be open on an on-going basis now.  You can also take Dr. Beckwith’s FREE 5-day course, “5 Days to Discovering Your Purpose” right HERE. )

Note #2: I just added Dr. Beckwith’s video about this masterclass! I put it below this article for you to serve as an introduction.

The Basics of the Program

If you’ve never heard him speak, Dr. Beckwith has a gentle, yet powerful and unique “presence” and method of delivery that has helped a LOT of people realize that not only do they HAVE a divine purpose in this life, but WHAT that purpose is.

Meditation and “Affirmative Prayer”
  • He guides participants in guided meditation so that you aren’t left guessing, “What am I supposed to DO?” He also guides “affirmative prayer” with the intention of helping us to accept ourselves, and to love ourselves so that we will be able to move forward.
From “Thinking” to “Knowing”
  • Dr. Beckwith’s process also helps us to shift from incessant “thinking” to a more intuitive state of mind – “knowing.”
The “Friendly Universe”
  •  Using the premise that we are part of a “friendly universe,” we learn to understand that obstacles and “stuff” that happens are opportunities for us to use for our greater good.
Stages of Spiritual Development and “Life Structures”
  • He talks about the various stages of spiritual development, as well as how to know what stages we are in (which helps clarify a lot about where we are in our lives), and then he teaches us about how to improve our individual experience by addressing the various structures (“Eight Life Structures”) in our lives through meditation.

Agape International Spiritual Center

He practices what he preaches – and if you need proof of this, look no further than what he has created with Agape International Spiritual Center! Since 1986 the Center has been almost a phenomena in its own right, embracing what Dr. Beckwith terms “New Thought-Ancient Wisdom tradition of spirituality.” And where some might consider Agape “non-denominational,” Dr. Beckwith calls it “a trans-denominational movement and community.”

Everywhere you go on his website, you see mention of “visioning.” Agape itself was a product of “visioning.” The spiritual principles and practices you see at his center are the very basis for what Dr. Beckwith teaches in the Life Visioning course. I hope you’ll spend some time on the Agape site to see for yourself the kind of human being is teaching this class.

Also, you will get a true glimpse into his process!

Michael Beckwith – The Secret and Beyond

Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith hit my radar in 2006, when I first saw The Secret, that “teaser” film about the Law of Attraction that featured a number of New Thought teachers and practitioners. I say “teaser” because it really did just “tease” me into learning as much as I could about the Law of Attraction in general, and New Thought more specifically.

It’s been well over 12 years since I first saw The Secret, and was introduced to Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith, yet my initial impression of him remains solid. If anything, my respect for him has grown enormously. He passion for teaching people that the Universe IS friendly, and that we all have a divine nature is hard to resist.

Why I admire Dr. Beckwith

There are many reasons I admire Dr. Beckwith so much. Almost every single word out of his mouth is in alignment with my own beliefs. It’s no secret that I love New Thought teachings, and am a fan of Dr. Ernest Holmes. Well, in 1985, Michael Bernard Beckwith graduated from the Ernest Holmes College School of Ministry, and he then became a Center for Spiritual Living minister (it used to be known as the United Church of Religious Science).

Shortly thereafter, there appears to have been a somewhat hurtful incident that blocked the way for him to have possibly become a senior minister of a certain church or other spiritual community. In the book I read, he didn’t go into great detail about it; however, it was clearly a time of great change.

And, beginning at a point where he “surrendered” the wondrous process that you are going to learn was born! It was during that and the following year that Dr. Beckwith used his visioning methods and meditation practices that helped pave the way for the manifestation of Agape International Spiritual Center!

Life Visioning Course

The actual course will take you through a 6-week journey where everything is broken down into steps and methods to help you unlock what your OWN gifts are, and to help you discover your potential. If you’ve read through some of my articles here on the site, it won’t come as a surprise to you to understand why I’m so delighted that Dr. Beckwith includes teachings about your subconscious mind!

NOTE: Sign up for his Life Visioning 6-week course here or to get an introduction to his process, access his FREE 5 Days to Discovering Your Purpose Course HERE.

Do I have to be a member or follower of Agape?

Now, you do not have to be a follower of Agape – nor do you need to follow ANY spiritual practice to discover your own purpose and vision for your life.

Frankly, any teacher who claims that he or she can only help you if you join a particular movement or center is one I would personally avoid.

Try Michael Beckwith’s Life Visioning Course

All you have to do is be willing to try Dr. Beckwith’s methods. One of the things about MindValley, is that they have a stellar satisfaction guarantee. If you decide to buy this course and you try it and don’t like it, you have 30 days to request a refund.

Anyway, have a look at this free course. You have absolutely NOTHING to lose! You’re obviously here because you’re looking for a way to figure out your own life’s purpose and vision. I don’t know anyone I’d rather have teach me this than the Rev. Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith!

Enjoy the ride!

What Is Personal Transformation?

What Is Personal Transformation?

The day dawns, from my office window

Before we address the question of what is personal transformation…

Let me explain how and why we came up with the idea of a website devoted to your personal transformation.

I love self help topics, and have used a good number of powerful products that have helped to change my own life. And I decided to share my experiences.

So, if you want to get right to the meat of that, check out my products page here. (And note: I’ve been personally testing a number of new products, and will be sharing them with you soon!)

Now… when deciding the best way to describe the central theme of, we kicked around numerous ideas. Sure, we knew we had come across some of the most powerful tools on the planet to help give you the “edge” so you could make a commitment to take action so you could realize success in your lives. But for what primary purpose?

Somehow, using the words, “self-development,” “self-help” or “self-improvement” just didn’t resonate with me. These terms seemed terribly inadequate to describe something so powerful.

Why Personal Transformation?

The idea: Learn how to change your life for the better. This has been a driving force for me. I always wanted more from and for myself…

Then, in a moment of clarity after spending a few minutes in a specific visualization exercise (which I’ll introduce you to elsewhere on this site), it was like I heard a couple of words whispered to me – soft at first, then louder: Personal Transformation.

It was truly a profound moment for me, and I kind of had to sit down and stare out the window for a few moments and repeat the words… “personal transformation” and let them take shape in my head. (By the way, the picture above  is the very view I was looking out at…)

I knew that this was the right theme, and here I’ll explain why, along with what the term means to me. I hope it will equally resonate with you as well.

“Self Improvement” or “Self Help” didn’t resonate.

You see, terms like “self improvement” or “self help” seem almost desperate to me. Like we are in some way deficient and need “fixing.” And, honestly, I don’t feel like you or I need “fixing.” I think and believe that if we’re here together on this site, we are feeling like there is “something more” for us in our lives that we are trying to put our fingers on, and simply need a little help to figure out what that “something more” actually IS for us.

Obviously, that “something” is quite different for everyone. For you, it may be that you feel the need to find a more satisfying line of work, or you may feel you aren’t in the best relationship. Maybe you feel that something is missing in your spiritual life. Or your health has been slipping away from you and you want to change that.

The Search Begins…

So, you’ve begun searching for ways to bring about positive change, and you’ve come across concepts such as “The Law of Attraction” which was largely introduced to millions of people through the 2006 movie “The Secret.” (By the way, I wrote another article about the Law of Attraction here… so I won’t spend a ton of time talking about it in this article. Besides, the Law of Attraction is only one small concept and tool when considering a shift as far reaching as the idea of a personal transformation.)

As you searched, and tried to put your finger on what you think is “wrong” with your life, perhaps you came across ideas such as creative visualization, or techniques like meditation, or books and materials by numerous self-help authors. You may have begun to get an inkling that you would be wise to begin looking within yourself rather than outside for answers to your burning questions.

It may be that you began exploring your relationship with “all that is” – maybe you began to question the existence of God; or, if you already felt like God (or Source or Divine Consciousness, The Force, etc) exists, you may have begun to question your relationship with this Divine Source – and how you could begin to work with this relationship.

This, I believe, is where true personal transformation begins to take root and grow.

What IS Personal Transformation?

I believe that personal transformation is a process through which we break down and ultimately dismiss limiting beliefs that no longer serve us (or never did to begin with), and through which we come to a place of utter and complete realization and confidence of who we are – and that we are, in fact, part of a wonderful whole which, without US, would not be whole at all.

Evening Light on the Ocean at Cherry GroveJust as the ocean could not be the ocean without all its individual droplets, the Universe – as vast and incomprehensible as it may appear – would be nothing without everything.

Also, the process of personal transformation signals the end of resistance and struggle. As we progress, we learn to work with – instead of against – ourselves. I remember listening to Wayne Dyer speak one day about playing in the pool with one of his daughters. They were singing, “Row, row row your boat, gently down the stream…” and Wayne mentioned how perfectly and simply that little song described the idea of non-resistance. We row GENTLY, and DOWN the stream. We “go with the flow” instead of desperately trying to paddle UP the stream.

Personal transformation is a highly individual process because each of us is an individual PART of the Whole. However, there are bound to be similar experiences among those who seek true change.

Taking Responsibility

For example, taking responsibility for where we are in our lives is an enormous but necessary step for anyone to take if she or he is going to move forward from here. For example, I am where I am because of choices that I have made in my life. If I am divorced (and I have been), it’s not my ex-husband’s fault for the problems we had. Remember, I chose to marry him to begin with. Sure, this is a simplistic example, but it’s true nonetheless.

I recall the first time it occurred to me that I was responsible for my life. It WAS, in fact, after that divorce.

I had begun consciously seeking my own personal transformation, and something I read kind of “slapped me upside the head” when I read that I was responsible for my life. At first I felt a flash of anger… kind of like, “How DARE you blame ME for the way he treated me!!”

But, as I continued reading and gaining an understanding, I realized that I was the one who stayed in a relationship that was clearly not a healthy one. I was the one who thought, “Well, I can change him and make him into a nicer person,” and I am the one who ultimately married him thinking, “Well, once we’re married he’ll realize that I’m a great person and he’ll change…” and on and on.

Once I recognized that I had made decisions that brought me certain results and consequences, I began looking at OTHER places in my life where I had made decisions.

This was incredibly liberating. I no longer saw myself as a victim! THAT in itself gave me a major POWER SURGE! And because of that, I fully believe that understanding the role you have in creating the life you live, well… that’s the first step.

Besides taking responsibility for our lives, I believe the next part is coming to understand the way we relate and interact with the Conscious and Subconscious Mind. We speak about the Subconscious here on this site; however it is important to remember that these are not TWO minds – just two ASPECTS of the ONE mind.

This “whole” is the Divine Consciousness – call it God or whatever you wish; but, I feel that if we can live our lives in true faith that we not only are part of this Consciousness, but that we can also work with and use it in cooperation with the natural laws that govern our Universe, then we are fulfilled, happy, and abundant.

Does this sound like a tall order to believe in? If it does, and yet you are interested in learning more, then you are in the right place.

Some Wise Teachers Along the Way

star - looks like crossThe wisest teachers have often stated that we don’t have to adhere to any specific “religion” in order to find fulfillment in our lives. In fact, many of us (myself included) were brought up to believe that life was to be an experience of suffering. I have absolutely no idea where, down the centuries, this dogma really came from. It sure didn’t come from someone like Jesus, who never taught that we had to suffer in order to know God or to have a relationship with the Divine.

I have been extremely fortunate to come across and study the teachings of masters such as Paramahansa Yogananda (the yogi who did a great deal to introduce Eastern wisdom to the West), Ernest Holmes (a “New Thought” philosopher who was able to articulate the workings of the Conscious and Subconscious Minds as they relate to the concept of God – he founded the “Science of Mind*” philosophy and faith), Joseph Murphy (who was a Science of Mind minister, and an author who wrote numerous books on learning how to work with the Subconscious Mind in a very “user-friendly” manner), Roy Posner (a contemporary and true friend who introduced me to the works of Sri Aurobindo and his spiritual partner The Mother, and who helped me understand “beyond The Secret”), and many, many others.

If you could see my library (well, actually, you CAN in some of the photos here on this site) and the resources that I refer to again and again, you’d see, besides those mentioned above, Neville Goddard, Bruce Lipton, Joe Dispenza, Deepak Chopra, Napoleon Hill, Charles Haanel, Stephen Covey, Sri Yukteswar, Claude Bristol, Thomas Troward, Genevieve Behrend, Eckhart Tolle, Roy Eugene Davis, Bob Proctor, Zig Ziglar, Lester Levenson, Shakti Gawain, Thich Nhat Hanh, Denis Waitley, Wayne Dyer, and on and on…

These, and other teachers have taught, helped and continue to help millions of people on their own journeys of personal transformation.

Personal transformation is all about you becoming the person you feel, deep down in the deepest part of your heart, that you want to be.

I’m really glad that you found this site. Explore… read… commit… act… succeed. It’s all here for you!

*Science of Mind is not, and has nothing to do with Christian Science (founded by Mary Baker Eddy) or Scientology (founded by L. Ron Hubbard), by the way. I have had people ask me this in the past, and so, I thought I would just mention that here. Science of Mind is sometimes also referred to as “Religious Science.”
